I just bought this album full of old world revenues and cinderellas. I didn't check all the stuff, but it seems that the best pieces are very damaged... a lot of 4 swaziland revenues, listed in the furnier catalog. they was carried in an old envelope, also of some kind of fiscal uses.

All pages of the album are scanned, and all who want to take a look can see it on the link. If someone would like to see any of the stamps in a better resolution, I can easy make it.

I don't think the Aalborg Stamps are Revenues, I believe they are locals.

They bear a passing resemblance to some Paris municipal revenues, so I'd start my searching there...didn't see them in Forbin, but Forbin's listings end at 1915.

Thanks, Cjd. On the first sight, they looks very, very old... oldest than any other stamp in album, so, probably from 1860-ies or 1870-ies... surely before 1915. They are not listed in Forbin probably because they are Paris muncipal only...

and the print font used also looks to be very rustic and simple

Is this a double surcharge by error, or it was usual to surcharge in 2 directions?

I am unable to find in Forbin even the one-direction "33 cents" surcharge :/
