Some Help Needed On ID - Americas

Morning all,
I am struggling to put a date on these, can anyone help?
I have been up-dating my Americas collection and in the lack of any specialised catalogue I am a bit stumped on some.
I may be asking a few questions like this!
First up is a pair of Venezuela inscribed Estado Guyana - may be revenues of some type? Any idea when?
All assistance appreciated.

They're Venezuela SG 262 and 264 from 1903. They were issued in the Venezuelan state of Guyana during the Civil War. The ship is "El Libertador". SG warns that the majority of stamps on the market are reprints.

Thanks a lot Nigel. My 1989 copy of SOTW doesn't list anything for Venezuela 1903, it shows a gap in the SG numbers around that time, 237 to 309 are not listed. Really do need to get hold of a South America catalogue!

Caution! Most of this stamps that are sold in the philatelic market are counterfeit/forgeries.
In authentic stamps the word ESTADO (vetical) is aligned with the word CORREOS (perfect angle aligned 90º):

This is a local issue and is know with the name of "Barquitos (Ship) Ban Right".
It exists with the localities of Guayana, Maturin and Mariño.

Ban Righ
