Our new Free Image Optimizer is now available.

When you are posting there is a link to it in the yellow bar at the top of the posting box. It opens in a new window/tab (depending on your browser settings) so no post data will be lost if you click on it.

It's pretty easy to use, even for the technology challenged among us. Just follow the instructions exactly and after a few times you'll be zipping through it.

I encourage everyone to use it as optimized images are good for everyone. They save space on the site's server and cut down on side to side scrolling and download times for our members and visitors.

Some of you will be very surprised at the lack of difference between a 300K image and a 80K image.

If you don't believe, save the 362 KB image below to your computer and test it out...
