hi all

my kiloware just arrived yesterday.
i have been going through the box.
i have found tons of plate numbers and other interesting items,

i hope it is ok that I post my finds.

here are two items that I found interesting

i noticed a strip of 6 # 2115's

it had [ T ] plate numbers on all stamps
my scotts did not even list a [ T ] plate number
but a plate number on all the stamps????

a second stamp that I found interesting was the wide bottom margin of a # 1395

is this common???

Sorry I can't answer your questions, but definitely keep posting them and the scans.

I know you've been anxiously awaiting this kiloware, so congratulations on finally getting it and getting started

Keep sharing,
KirkS

By the way, someone smarter than I will be along to answer your questions soon...

Nice to hear about your new family additions.

I know nothing about USA stamps but the last stamp
image looks like a booklet stamp because of the large bottom margin.

Lonedan,

What gives with Eisenhower's forehead above his left eye? Or is that a crease in the stamp. I've never seen that before.

Yes, that wide bottom margin is fairly common.

i am still going through all of it.

I for one, and I think others too, are enjoying your buying and searching and finding and exploring. Fascinating and educational and what will turn up next?

I have never really looked at the coils with plate numbers on them before with such interest. Or the other things you are discovering.

Thank you for sharing your story and hopefully continuing to share it.
