The cancel on this British Machin "Boots" sheetlet depicts a hand dropping loose change into a mailing envelope. It tells people to not do this, because it can damage automated equipment.

On January 25, 1980 India issued a four stamp set to commemorate its hosting of the India International Stamp Exhibition in New Delhi (Jan. 25-Feb 3, 1980). Two of the stamps from the set feature coins. The 50 paise stamp (Sc #853) shows coins on a postal money order of 1880, and the one rupee value (Sc #854) depicts two anna coins from 1774.
