Yes thanks for the enlarged scan.

I had a feeling they were the bottles of "bitters"

from others in my collection:

ANGOSTURA BITTERS

Trinidad and Tobago in the West Indies issued a set of four stamps plus miniature sheet to mark the centenary of the business of Angostura aromatic bitters in Trindidad.
Named after a town on the Orinocco, Angostura bitters was the creation of a German army surgeon and in 1875 he took his business to Port of Spain.
Designs of the stamps are by Jennifer Toombs and printing, in lithography, is by John Waddington Ltd. in sheets of 50 on CA (unspecified) watermark: 5«, Angostura Building, George Street, Port of Spain; 35c Both faces of the Medalla de New Orleans 1885-86; 45C, The Medalla de Sydney 1879; SOt, The Medalla de Bruxelles 1897.

Woweee. Loving the incredible range of far out stamps here. Especially the Mongolian Antarctic penguin!

These are a bit bland in comparison but at least slightly odd shaped.

I wouldn't say odd but Royal Mail seem to increasingly look for gimmicks to sell stamps e.g.

Scott description
No. 2273 has a chalky covering over the coin that can be scratched away with a coin or other metal object to reveal a "heads" (2273a) picture showing a face composed of a planet, star and crescent or a "tails" (2273b) picture, showing a shoot-ing star. The chalky covering may, like earlier British chalky paper stamps, dissolve in any fluid.

Could not resist the plane cutout that I recently picked up. Also, came across another South Africa one to go with the odd shaped collection.

nuggethill,
They are especially attractive. Are they easy enough to get hold of?

Ironically these stamps are worth far more when rectangular, image taken from a bid sight mine are rectangular, but that's not the point of this subject,
