Due to the recent influx of signature spam by new members on both forums, we have been forced to implement a 100 post threshold before signatures are allowed.
We just had a member sign up on the coin forum, cram their signature full of links, and post an article taken from an on-line article database. This is just the tip of the iceberg that you see since I nip most of them within an hour. This is happening more and more and chewing up a lot of my time monitoring them.
So if you have less than 100 posts, don't be alarmed that your siggy disappeared. It's not a punishment of any sort, just a blanket change of policy. When you get to 100 quality posts you'll be able to put it back.
The not so fine, fine print. All the other signature rules still apply. Height limit of 125 pixels, no animation, and we reserve the right to remove any signature, any time, for any reason we see fit.

Bobby, You do a great job monitoring the forum! Keep up the good work. I do not envy spam blockers, it is a thankless job. |

Don't know if I will reach a hundred post. Unlike baseball or my model trains, I'm really more of a listener in stamp collecting rather then a talker.
I have one sig image I use on all the forums I join.
It's 366 x 100 pixels, 21k in size

Thank-you for policing the chatboards... it is greatly appreciated.

I believe in happy endings. If you are not happy then the best is yet to come. :) |

I'm having stupid situation...
When I'm logged in to StampCommunity with my username, I don't see anyones signature. When I'm logged out , I see the signatures... And when looking at my profile page, I don't see any kind of switch to turn this feature on/off. Where's the "magic button" ? |
