John, if you list on Ebau US, you have to sign an agreement giving Ebay permission to withhold your earnings anytime they like at their own discretion. I'm not willing to agree to that.

Yes it has been an interesting 10 months with eBay .com

It all started to change about 3 months ago we received an e-mail from USA .com that a new classification has been issued and we were now called world traders. Basically because we did not live in the USA and they did not know what to do with us.

Next about 6 weeks ago we got another e-mail from eBay .com saying that we are now also called inter boarder traders.

Next a couple of weeks ago we got another e-mail from eBay .com saying for security of buyers your funds will be held back until all goes well.

I was also left with the impression that once we became top rated sellers we would be trusted by eBay .com and not seen as a possible high risk to all .com buyers.

I'm not willing to agree to that either. It's really something else.
I get the impression that eBay want only to look after those well established sellers and don't give a toss about new members or those with low feedback.
And as I've said before, over 50% or ebayers don't leave feedback so what chance does one stand.
I went through a listing page on eBay.com last week and got the same [sad] story. The listing page was also very difficult to complete compared to the UK site [for example].

It's a shame.

KGV, will you combine shipping ? Also, one of my favorite things to do with Australian Stamps is to fly speck KGV's, any of the ones you have listed worth taking the magnifying glass to ? Or did you already do that ?

John, just wanted to add to the good wishes and positive feedback you have had from others here. Life is constantly changing, new becomes old, things move on. I hope you find a good balance. It sounds like you have a good system going with listing on ebay. I wish you good luck with the venture and best wishes to you and your family.
