Postal stationery experts I need your help. The photos show a red Washington 2 cent that ID as belonging to the 1899 group (probably a U358); but my reference (such as it is) skips from 1932 to 1950 on stationery.

I know it's postmarked 1934, so I guess what I'm wondering is or was there more issues between '32 and '50 that this belongs to? Or is this an example of someone using a really old piece of postal stationery to mail something?

I think that is U79 printed 1993 er 1893. If so, someone used an old stamped envelope and added 740 to make up the then current 1st class rate. Philatelic?

Yep, I think it's U79 also. Thanks for the link to the dubinweb site, I've been looking for help with stationery ID and this should work out real well!
