Not a booklet stamp but a stamp from a sheet. Just a natural straight edge stamp from the left side of the pane.

This stamp came from the left edge of a pane of stamps. These stamps were printed in large sheets and then cut in 4 panes.
You state that you have a 2009 Scott catalog. If you look in the introduction it will have a better explanation of these straight adges.

It looks to be a very nice copy, even if somewhat heavily cancelled.

Personally, I think straight edges add interest to (some) stamps.

Stamps with straight edges have been shunned by collectors but when you think about it they are rarer than the ones with perfs on all sides.
