Please help me figure this out. I can't read French. I think it was mailed in 1910. Am I reading the postmark correctly? So was this card mailed in France? This part of Africa would have been Middle Congo in 1910 and stamps of that country would have been appropriate.

I'd say mailed in a French Possession - Christmas wishes. Madame G. somebody, Liberty Place. Could be 1910. You need to blow up the whole postmark to see if there is another possibility.

Makes sense. The address is also in Biarritz.

Postcard looks like a colonial series, although more reminiscent of gauchos going after rhea than Central African ostrich hunting. It was probably drawn by someone who'd never travelled further abroad than Paris...

Not sure about the date but the lower part is "Basses Pyrenées", the département in which Biarritz lies.
