Those are nice. Especially for a Niagara region boy like myself - Canadian side.

Here's the only one I seem to have, though not of the falls. This is a scene from Camp Niagara, complete with Field post office cancel.

No one seems to have noticed these in my "Fierce Winters" topic, so I'll post a couple others on this thread. Here are the falls in a state rarely seen -- frozen! You'll find more here -- http://goscf.com/t/49117

A gent at my stamp club last week, knowing my interest in Niagara area material presented me with these post cards (very nice of him, but yes I will pay for them). All were sent to the same woman, Miss Maggie Berney, in Caledon East, Ont.
This first, postmarked in Niagara Falls on June 15 1908 shows the Brock monument at Queenston Heights. General Sir Isaac Brock was a British General in the War of 1812, and was killed near where his monument now stands.
No note on this one.

This one shows the American falls from Goat Island, which separates the Canadian and American Falls. This would have been taken from the Canadian side of the border.
Post marked in Chippawa, a small village now part of the city of Niagara Falls Ont., on August 23 1910. Caledon East Ont. receiver cancel.

These three nice photo post cards were all from the village of Chippawa, mentioned in the post above. All sent by the same person Dorie, or J. Blundy

The first postmarked July 5 1910 shows Chippawa Creek. Caledon East receiver cancel.

This one postmarked on July 13 1910 in Chippawa, shows the Chippewa Town Hall. This one gets a little confusing because it was sent to Toronto (July 16 receiver cancel) then forwarded to Caledon East, but the Toronto cancel appears to be later than the Caledon east receiver cancel which looks to be July 13. It's possible it is a badly inked July 18, which would make more sense. FYI, the July 16 1910 Toronto cancel is my birthday 50 years before. Howz about that!

Lastly is the Baltimore House, postmarked in Niagara Falls on August 10 1910 and received in Caledon on August 11. The original part of the house was built around 1816 by John Kirkpatrick and used as a general store. The addition from around 1890 was a hotel, called the Baltimore house. The original house was demolished around 1903 and the rest remains, heavily altered and is now a restaurant.

Found this neat card last week showing a cable gondola that gave tourists a great view of the falls. I never knew this existed! (Note the trolley on the right bank.)
