edw_kim, a google search for morny paris london shows that the Morny is a restaurant in Paris. There was also a Charles de Morny, Duke of Morny of France. There was also a soap by that name. What relationship to your interesting label, I am not sure.

Purely a guess because I have not yet found the type of crest in my searches, but it could be from the British Perfumerer Morny who became more famous for their soaps and other products which had a royal warrant.
Their products were so popular in France that they opened a Branch in Paris. Maybe this is from that period ?

As I said, just a guess.

Charles de Morny seems to fit the letters in the shield, namely 'C' and 'M' as far as I can see

Note label on jar, style/design seem to be very similar to crest shown by original poster.

Yes, a quick Google search of Morny Bath Salts and a number of similar initialed crests can be seen.

Looks like the answer is a sweet-scented one !

Also, the label says "trade mark," so it's clearly something commercial.

ok.definitely "not a stamp".mostlikey a label.possibly a "perfume label".

note-the label item was found in the France & Colonies section of a 1940s Scott International Jr's Edition Stamp Album!
