Headed to Florida to play two weeks of baseball.

I'll be checking in a few times a day, but emails will likely take a little longer to process while I'm away.

First game Sunday at Brighthouse Stadium, spring training home of the Phillies....

You're two months ahead of us, Bobby. We're bringing the grandchildren to Orlando for Christmas. Are you going to meet up with any MLB players?

We'll see a lot of retired ones that play in our league. Was 2 for 3 off of Oil Can Boyd last year.

Anything televised? Even if it's ESPN 14, it would be pretty cool to watch. Does Bill Lee come down and pitch in that league too?

No not televised. Not sure about Bill Lee. Roger Clemens does though.

I remember Oil Can Boyd and Bill Spaceman Lee from the Montreal Expos days. I sure miss those days.

Brighthouse Stadium reminds me of old Jarry Park.

Caught 25 innings Sun-Tue so I knew I was going to have Wednesday off and took my good Canon/100MM lens so unfortunately none of me here. This is at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium, Spring training home of the Toronto Blue Jays.

Ball on the bat!

This is Larry. Larry is a stud. He is 61 years old and still plays in the Delco League back home. The Delco league is a semi-pro league, 18 and up. Every year he is one of the best hitters in the league.... at 61.

First playoff game tonight at 5 at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium.
