ronv, your prices are way above the Scott VG to Fine grades (used). I figure and know the Scott values are not for buyers unless something very special and certified and these do not fall in this category. Thanks

Hi Renden. Obviously something is wrong with my pricing for these stamps. No one has broken down my door to purchase them. Maybe I can learn something here. Would you elaborate please? I didn't know Scott gave a price for VG-Fine. I do know the Scott pricing is for VF and my stamps are nowhere near VF. But I'm not asking full catalog. Is 25% still too much. I know that 10% is about right for large collections of stamps. These are a little more selective than that. You also said that Scott is not for buyers. What do you mean by that and what should a buyer use as a price guide?

Hi I just registered here. As a full time dealer of more than 40 years, I can tell you that these stamps change hands wholesale here in Australia at under $2 each, that is in Australian Dollars. So around $1.50 each in US$ I sell a pack of 300 mixed with values to 10/- for $575 of course you only get one of each of the 5/- and 10/-, but plenty of others, from the Halfpenny to 2/- and I do not check for varieties, watermarks, shades or postmarks. Life is too short! Many of my customers are re-sellers.

ronv, I dont't sell stamps. Kevin's answer represents his experience. I wish he had put a price on your offering just for comparison.

my price data comes from my 2016 EzStamp program based on Scott numbering and prices are given in VG-F-VF-ExF in categories Used, MNH, MH. If you need more details, contact Marios at Softpro.

ronv, the 'roos that sell for more feature varieties. These are well worth looking for, as they can be worth quite a bit. There are also inverted and sideways watermarks. A 3d olive 'roo, OS perfin, inverted 3rd watermark, sold on eBay last week for $41.
