Congratulations to Richard Frajola of this forum and his colleague Steven C. Walske FRPSL for being named recipients of the Royal Philatelic Society London's Crawford Medal, for the most valuable and original contribution to the study and knowledge of philately published in book form, for "Mails of the Westeard Expansion 1803-1861," in an RPSL decision of 16 March 2016 with the medal to be awarded at NY2016. Well done gents.

Congratulations to them! A book full of information that advances philately is a truly great accomplishment. Their great effort in compiling this information is invaluable to philately and their award is well deserved!

Thank you for the kind comments. The aspect of the book project that I am most pleased about is that we deliberately structured publication so the entire book could be made available free on the internet simultaneously with the print version.

The entire book, as well as individual chapters and updated sailing tables, can be downloaded from links on the page here:

Your efforts to disseminate this knowledge without barriers does not go unnoticed.

If I could afford it, I would proudly display your physical book on my bookshelves.

I commend you again for your addition to the knowledgebase of philately with this contribution.

Your selflessness and desire to contribute your knowledge is absolutely appreciated.

Again,
Thank you.
