Embroidery - Suzani Textile
December 28, 2009
Suzani is a type of embroidered and decorative tribal textile made in Central Asian countries. The oldest surviving suzanis are from the late 18th and early 19th Centuries, but it seems likely that they were in use as early as the early 15th Century. The stamps showcase Suzanis from different regions of the country.
