agondocz: Nice cover. You don't see a lot of material from that part of the world, used even!

The Aden postal card is nice. Thank you.

In 1911, Jaipur State went back to printing its stamps locally, after having them and their postal stationery done in London. These were the famous, or infamous - take your pick - "Jail Press" printings. (The stamps, and presumably the postal stationery, were printed by the State Press, which was located in the Jaipur Jail.)

The stamps are quite common mint, a bit harder to find commercially used and uncommon on cover; the accompanying postal stationery is definitely scarce. So I was delighted to be able to pick up this ½ Anna postal stationery cover with an additional Jail Press 1 Anna stamp recently:

The envelope is #E4 in Ed Deschl's catalogue; the stamp is SG 20. Deschl E4 has the indicium upright (or the envelope upright); it's a little scarcer than #E4a,with the envelope inverted.
