Bolivia
Paleontological Deposits of Chuquisaca
June 6, 2012
In Cal Orcko in the Department of Chuquisaca there is the largest diversity of dinosaur footprints in the world. There are footprints of Tyranosaurus, Brontosaurus, Carnivore-dinosaurs, Anquilosaurus, among others. In total there are more than 5000 footprints of more than 332 species which have lived here during the Cretaceous period. There is also a great variety of petrified remains of turtles, crocodiles, fish and seaweed.

yes, Jordan 2012 is a nice set of 2 sheetlets of 4 each. Also, several nice dinosaurs are in the margins.

It's a shame that your picture doesn't give the 3-D effect that the stamps have
A very good listing of Dinosaurs on Stamps can be had at my web site.

Thank you Tantsbsac,

Your post made me see that two of the dinosaurs are labeled in Spanish and not ancient Greek. I corrected my entry at dinosaurs-on-stamps.info

thank you - RMargulski
