Thanks for the info XNber. Yes, it could be an American bridge. On Google, I did see many eastern Canada covered bridges painted red. The seller of the stamp (from Quebec) did not know the location - but I will find it!

Hi Bee See. I looked on the Quebec Transport Web site. http://www.mtq.gouv.qc.ca/portal/pa...visite_ponts.

Your bridge is not one of them. Something got my attention. On your picture there is no sign on the bridge for the Height. All bridges in Quebec has it.

It can be a a private bridge or an old picture.

I like this one issued for the inauguration of the Confederation bridge in 1997. It connects Canadian province of Prince-Edward Island to mainland.

Hi Bee See. What is the chance that I go on Google Image and find the same image as the stamp.

Well Done Sylvain! Merci! A similar photo without the rock at a different angle slipped right by me - so Puzzler too was correct in a sense, with the photo of the original bridge that was destroyed by fire in 1987. I saw the bridge in the 1970's. The bridge was rebuilt in 1997. The stamp could have been made for the 10th anniversary.
